#3 BEING A CRITIC

If you loved The Bourne Supremacy you are going to love Pierre Morrel's Taken. At the beginning of the story we are introduced to an ex CIA agent Bryan Mills, played by Liam Neeson, who has retired to spend more time with his 17 year old daughter Kim, played by Maggie Grace. In the first 30 minutes we find out that Bryan is divorced and his daughter is now living with his ex-wife Lenore, played by Framke Janssen, and her new husband. Later in the movie Bryan finds out that his daughter wants to travel to Europe with her friend to follow the band U2. He is concerned that something bad will happen but still lets her go because he thinks they are going to be with the friends family. The girls manage to get kidnapped the same day they arrive in Europe. But Kim manages to make a frightening phone call to her dad before she gets taken away. Bryan using his CIA skills records the voices of the kidnappers who happen to be a band of human traffickers who exploit young tourists girls and sexually assault them. Using his influences in Europe, Bryan flies out to Europe in search for his daughter. Using his secret service skills he finds the guys who kidnapped his daughter and takes revenge. He doesn't give up until he finds his daughter and takes her back home with him. The movie is really awesome. Its a movie that every one can enjoy because there is something for every one. The movie has action adventures, its also about family and it teaches an importat lesson: don't lie to your parents as to where you are going to because if something happens they wont be able to find you, not all parents are ex-CIA agents like the character in the movie. Taken really opens your eyes to the world you haven't seen. You can never trust anyone you barely met, especially in another country you have never been to. Kidnapping happens a lot now a days with out people knowing about it until its too late to do something about it.You really have to be careful with whom you're trusting because you never know the person you are with, you may think you know them but in the long run you may find out that they are not who you thought they were.Parents have to be really careful with who their children kick it with.Taken is everything i expected it to be. It really kept me wanting to watch it again and again. Its such s thriller to watch a father do anything to save his daughter from bandits. This movie is one of the best I've seen and I'm sure every one who watched will agree with me.
